Nokia announces 6131, 6136 and 6070  cellThe stylish Nokia 8800 is now modified in such a way that one would crave to own it. It looks extraordinarily sophisticated. Guess why! Thats because the Nokia 8800 is now available in gold. Yes u read it right. In GOLD! The gold-plated phone is proving to be a head turner.

The gold plating offers three different colours namely 24k classic gold, modern gold and rose gold. So it is fine if the user wishes to get rid of the steel or plastic covered panels and switch on to the very new and rocking gold covering for the Nokia 8800. Though the Nokia 8800 gold looks exactly like its former invention, the golden touch makes it stand apart.

The features being the same as the original Nokia 8800. It is operated by Triband-GSM 900/1800/1900. The phone weighs 134g which is slightly on the heavier side but is sleek. It consists of a golden cover which when opened contains an integrated SVGA camera(0.5 megapixel) on the back side of the phone. It thereby reveals an attractive keypad on the front. It measures 107x45x16.5mm. Obviously it also helps with the normal features. So, this is nokia unveiling its new 8800 GOLD!

Additional features include a 2.4-inch OLED display with 320 x 240 pixels and 16-million colors, Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band WCDMA connectivity, Wi-Fi, a-GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, a 5MP Carl Zeiss camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and video recording, and an 8GB of internal memory.
