Apple will launch its newest and greatest iPhone next month. Apple may make a major upgrade that will beat its only competitor, Android.
If you want the fastest phone in the world then the iPhone 15 could be one to watch out for. This latest and greatest device from Apple may launch next month and looks set to lead the competition in terms of performance.
It's no secret that Apple has made some of the fastest phones in the world, with the flagship iPhone 14 Pro Max topping the processor speed test.
However, reported by the Mirror, Friday (25/8/2023), the iPhone 15 can take things to a whole new level and overwhelm competitors like Samsung and Google.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, rumors are circulating on the web that Apple will be including its newest A17 chip inside the iPhone 15 and that could be a great thing.
In fact, some predict it will feature 3nm (nanometer) technology compared to the 4nm currently used on the A16 Bionic. If true, this would make a huge difference as 3nm chips are capable of doing more tasks at the same time while using less power.
Elaborating further, the team at MacRumors say 3nm should deliver the biggest performance and efficiency leap in Apple's chips since 2020.
With Apple already in the lead, a major update to its next device could leave its Android rivals even further behind.
One tech tipster, named Unknownz21 has uploaded the expected specs of the A17 on X (formerly Twitter), which gives an idea of how great things are going to be.
According to the thread, this chip will get 3nm technology plus feature 6 CPU Cores + 6 GPU Cores as well as a speed of 3.70 GHz, up from around 3.4GHz on the current iPhone 14.
Of course, Apple never revealed any improvements prior to its launch, so everyone will have to wait and see what this new device will feature. Thankfully, it didn't take long to find out as the Mirror predicts that September 12th will be the date it all comes to light.
