No, on the N900 it’s Mozilla vs. Mozilla, brother vs. brother, with the stock MicroB browser on one side and the latest Firefox Mobile 1.0 on the other. Which one is better? Here is a leaked video of the upcoming Nokia Erdos 8800, which is a Symbian S60-powered handset made from a single piece of stainless steal with a piece of glass covering the display. Measuring 116.9mm x 50.3mm x 15mm, the phone also has a rising keypad which matches the display’s level when you slide it open. Additional features include a 2.4-inch OLED display with 320 x 240 pixels and 16-million colors, Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band WCDMA connectivity, Wi-Fi, a-GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, a 5MP Carl Zeiss camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and video recording, and an 8GB of internal memory. Nokia has finally released the Nokia N86 8MP dual-slider phone in the US market. It is no longer a pre-order on Amazon. Priced at $468.99, the Nokia N86 is actually Nokia’s new imaging flagship. The handset features an 8MP camera with dual-LEDs flash, GPS, S60 3rd edition FP2 operating system, a 2.6-inch QVGA OLED display, US 3G up to 3.6Mbps on the downlink, and WiFi connectivity.Nokia E63, E66, E71, N96 Smartphones
Nokia has released firmware updates for Nokia E63, E66, E71, N96 smartphones. The updated firmware for E63 (v200.21.012), E66 (v300.21.012) and E71 (v300.21.012) handsets includes a new version of Nokia messaging and Hotmail application, and improved HTML support. The Nokia N96 update (version 30.033) will add a Facebook app and improved ringtone audio levels. You can update your handset via Nokia Software Updater (available via Nokia PC Suite). Just remember that you should backup your device before hitting the “Update” button.
