Nokia has released firmware updates for Nokia E63, E66, E71, N96 smartphones. The updated firmware for E63 (v200.21.012), E66 (v300.21.012) and E71 (v300.21.012) handsets includes a new version of Nokia messaging and Hotmail application, and improved HTML support. The Nokia N96 update (version 30.033) will add a Facebook app and improved ringtone audio levels. You can update your handset via Nokia Software Updater (available via Nokia PC Suite). Just remember that you should backup your device before hitting the “Update” button.
Nokia N900 Price Drops
Amazon has recently dropped the price of the Nokia N900 smartphone to $582.99, $66.01 cheaper than its current pre-order price. In case you didn’t know, the N900 is the company first Maemo-based device to have phone capabilities. The smartphone sports a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixels, a full QWERTY keyboard, a 5MP camera with video recording, a 32GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, an FM radio, WiFi, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports both quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and tri-band WCDMA (900/1700/2100 MHz) connectivities. AT&T has just announced another simple clamshell phone from Nokia namely the Nokia 6350. Coming in two color options, either red or graphite, the handset offers a 2MP camera, external music keys, AT&T Navigator, AT&T Video Share, a web browser, email, a 4 hour battery and HSDPA connectivity. The Nokia 6350 will be available at AT&T retail stores and online from October 4th for a price tag of $29.99 with a 2-year contract agreement.Nokia 2330 Coming
T-Mobile USA is gearing up to release another low-end phone from Nokia namely the Nokia 2330. This simple candybar phone features a 1.8-inch 128 x 160 TFT display, a VGA camera, a Stereo FM radio, a 32MB of internal memory, web2Go, My Faves, Bluetooth, 2.5mm headset jack and supports dual-band GSM/GPRS connectivity. The Nokia 2330 is expected to be released in the next few weeks for free on contract.
