T-Mobile USA is gearing up to release another low-end phone from Nokia namely the Nokia 2330. This simple candybar phone features a 1.8-inch 128 x 160 TFT display, a VGA camera, a Stereo FM radio, a 32MB of internal memory, web2Go, My Faves, Bluetooth, 2.5mm headset jack and supports dual-band GSM/GPRS connectivity. Nokia has launched the firmware update version 11.0.054 for Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, which is only a minor update. The new firmware delivers a smoother home screen to the handset. In case you didn’t know, the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is a music phone that has a 2.9-inch TFT resistive touchscreen display with 640 x 360 resolution, a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash, a 70MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, Symbian S60 5.0 OS and supports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) connectivity. Nokia has worked together with fashion house RAOUL to launch a very limited (1000 units) edition of its N97 mini. The package will come with a special Fashion Asia widget and a calf-skin leather case. Nokia has announced two new affordable handsets to its range namely the Nokia 2220 (pictured above) and 2690. The Nokia 2220 is a slider phone that sports a 128 x 160 pixels color display, a VGA photo camera, a 32MB of internal memory, an MP3 player, an FM radio, MMS, Ovi Mail support, Bluetooth and supports GSM/GPRS connectivity. The handset will be sold later this year for $66. Meanwhile, the Nokia 2690 is a candybar phone that comes with the same features as the 2220 but adds a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. The 2690 will go on sale in the first quarter of next year for $80.
