Nokia 2220 And 2690 Announced Phone
Nokia has announced two new affordable handsets to its range namely the Nokia 2220 (pictured above) and 2690. The Nokia 2220 is a slider phone that sports a 128 x 160 pixels color display, a VGA photo camera, a 32MB of internal memory, an MP3 player, an FM radio, MMS, Ovi Mail support, Bluetooth and supports GSM/GPRS connectivity. The handset will be sold later this year for $66. Meanwhile, the Nokia 2690 is a candybar phone that comes with the same features as the 2220 but adds a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot. Nokia will launch the Nokia X6 Symbian touchscreen phone in the UK on November 12th, 2009. Priced at around $878, the high-end handset comes jam packed with a 3.2 inch (360 x 640 pixels) LCD display, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi (with UPnP), stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack, a TV out, a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, and a 32GB of internal memory.
