Priced at around $878, the high-end handset comes jam packed with a 3.2 inch (360 x 640 pixels) LCD display, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi (with UPnP), stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headset jack, a TV out, a 5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, and a 32GB of internal memory. Nokia has unveiled a new slider handset with a 5-megapixel shooter for the European market. Available in pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple, the Nokia 6700 Slide has a 2.2-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240, a 860 mAh battery, and a microSD card slot (up to 16GB). Nokia X6 is finally making its way to British customers starting on November 27th via Orange UK. The handset will be offered for free to those who sign a contract agreement and opt for a monthly plan of at least £35. Folks in the US will receive the Nokia N900 starting next week. It is the first Nokia device based upon the TI OMAP3 microprocessor with ARM Cortex-A8 core. The Maemo 5-powered smartphone supports Quad-band GSM and 3G UMTS connectivity and features a 5MP camera, a portable media player, and a mobile Internet device with email and web browsing. The unlocked version of Nokia N900 is still listed for $649 from Nokia direct.
