Nokia today introduced a new slider handset that is available in six fresh and vivid colors including pink, red, petrol blue, aluminum, lime and purple. Made for design-conscious consumers, the Nokia 6700 Slide features a 2.2-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240, a 5-megapixel camera with a built-in dual LED flash, a 860 mAh battery, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 16GB. Additionally, its camera can record video in MPEG-4 VGA up to 15fps. The Nokia 6700 Slide will be available in Europe for 160 Euros or approx. $240.

Nokia X6 ‘Comes with Music’

Nokia is ready to launch the Nokia X6 “Comes with Music” edition, which is designed for a high quality entertainment experience. The music-oriented phone supports the unlimited subscription service and provides a 5-megapixel camera with a dual LED flash, a 3.2-inch (640 x 360 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and a 32GB of internal storage that is enough to hold around 7,000 songs. For your info, the Nokia X6 is actually the company’s first handset with a capacitive touchscreen that provides more precision and quicker response than resistive displays. The Nokia X6 “Comes with Music” edition retails for 450 Euros ($698).

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games

Nokia’s 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition is now available in the US market. Known as Nokia’s most affordable touchscreen phone, this handset comes equipped with a total of 20 games from renowned developers EA Mobile and Gameloft. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games Edition packs a 3.2-megapixel AF camera, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, a 70MB internal memory, and an included 4GB microSD card. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic Games edition is now available in the US for $269.

Nokia X6 16GB With Symbian S60

Still remember the Nokia X6 32GB Come with Music? Nokia today introduced the 16GB model of this handset. Known as the Nokia X6 16GB, the cell phone features a 3.2-inch full touchscreen display in 16:9 ratio (360 x 640 pixels) and 16 million colors. The 16GB model also boasts a 5-megapixel camera with dual flash LED for low light photography, a 433.9MHz processor, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, A-GPS and WLAN. Available in all black, all white, white with pink highlights and white with yellow highlights colors, the Nokia X6 16GB will be sold without the Come with Music service but will come with the latest Symbian S60 5th edition. Nokia 3250 cell

The Nokia Corporation announces with pride, its new invention of a smartphone thats named as Nokia 3250, a Series 60 on Symbian operating system. This handset has a swiveling keypad that makes the whole body look stylish. The user will be excited to know that the phone can be twisted in three ways in order to convert itself into a music player, a camera and then again a smartphone when twisted each time. Great isn't it?? It resembles Nokia 3230 in looks meaning it has got a similar keypad which is situated right below the display, though Nokia 3230 did not have a swiveling keypad. The Nokia 3250 has got thick edges making it look sharp featured.

With a considerable success after the introduction of its N-series, like Nokia N90, the Nokia Corporation is quick to introduce its another handset named Nokia N70. Should you use Firefox Mobile or the stock N900 MicroB browser ?

There’s a browser war going on, but it’s not the typical IE vs. Firefox series of battles. No, on the N900 it’s Mozilla vs. Mozilla, brother vs. brother, with the stock MicroB browser on one side and the latest Firefox Mobile 1.0 on the other. Which one is better? It’s a tough call, that’s for sure.

Nokia Erdos 8800 Luxury Phone

Here is a leaked video of the upcoming Nokia Erdos 8800, which is a Symbian S60-powered handset made from a single piece of stainless steal with a piece of glass covering the display. Measuring 116.9mm x 50.3mm x 15mm, the phone also has a rising keypad which matches the display’s level when you slide it open. Additional features include a 2.4-inch OLED display with 320 x 240 pixels and 16-million colors, Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band WCDMA connectivity, Wi-Fi, a-GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, a 5MP Carl Zeiss camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and video recording, and an 8GB of internal memory. Nokia N86 8MP Available

Nokia has finally released the Nokia N86 8MP dual-slider phone in the US market. It is no longer a pre-order on Amazon. Priced at $468.99, the Nokia N86 is actually Nokia’s new imaging flagship. The handset features an 8MP camera with dual-LEDs flash, GPS, S60 3rd edition FP2 operating system, a 2.6-inch QVGA OLED display, US 3G up to 3.6Mbps on the downlink, and WiFi connectivity.

Nokia E63, E66, E71, N96 Smartphones

Nokia has released firmware updates for Nokia E63, E66, E71, N96 smartphones. The updated firmware for E63 (v200.21.012), E66 (v300.21.012) and E71 (v300.21.012) handsets includes a new version of Nokia messaging and Hotmail application, and improved HTML support. The Nokia N96 update (version 30.033) will add a Facebook app and improved ringtone audio levels. You can update your handset via Nokia Software Updater (available via Nokia PC Suite). Just remember that you should backup your device before hitting the “Update” button.
