Nokia N96
Barcelona - Nokia officially introduces mobile multimedia at Mobile World Congress 2008, Barcelona. Video and TV so whiz features mobile phone.
Is the Nokia N96, the multimedia computer with a 2.8 inch screen, 16 Gigabytes of internal memory and support high quality video. The phone is scheduled to begin shipping in the third quarter 2008 with a retail price of 550 Euros (excluding taxes).
Nokia N96 is an evolution of the N95. What's new in this phone? Apparently not many changes that are included. N96 is armed with a larger memory, with storage capacities of 16GB (built-in) that can accommodate up to 40 hours of video content, and 12,000 music tracks, and an additional microSD card.
Just like its predecessors, the N96 also features a Carl Zeiss 5 megapixel camera with auto focus but has been equipped with two LEDs as flash his power. Another new feature is the built-in DVB-H tuner for digital TV.
Nokia N96 supports video formats MPEG-4, Windows Media Video and Flash Video, so users can more easily display video. The process of transfer and video access is also faster because it has high-speed USB 2.0 connection and support HDSPA and WLAN technology.
N96 WCDMA network operating at 2100/900 (HSDPA) / EGSM 900, GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz (EGPRS). There's also a built-in GPS receiver, the Nokia Maps application and download service map of 150 countries for free. To berjelajah on the Internet, Web Browser N96 equipped with Mini Map, visual history, HTML and JavaScript support, Flash Lite 3.0 and Flash video support RSS reader.
